The 20th Wilburton Beer Festival takes place this month on 23rd & 24th June on Wilburton Recreation Ground
As well as a bigger than ever selection of craft beer and cider, there will be the Pimms, Prosecco and a Gin tent, a pop-up Martini bar (courtesy of The Cherry Tree, Haddenham), Gourmet ice cream, Wood Fired Pizza, Thai, BBQ, Hog Roast (Saturday), tea, coffee and cakes, tuck shop and children’s lunch bags. The band line up is looking fantastic this year and to celebrate the 20th Anniversary they will be having a triple headliner – the pioneering folk punker Cush (The Men They Couldn’t Hang) with special guests from Feral Family and The Professionals, Sabretooth Timmy and Max Headroom.
It’s set to be a weekend of family-friendly fun with various activities including rock painting, face-painting, henna tattoos, sports games, zorb balls, trampolines and lots of inflatables. This year there is a dedicated area for the smallest half pints (3 years old and under) with wristbands at £5 per day. Wristbands for the larger equipment are £10, this area is suitable for 4 years and over.
As an anniversary special, if you are aged 20 or 40 you get free entry all weekend and there is no need to miss the footie with a football tent showing England vs Panama at 1pm.
They have thought of everything!
